    Job Description / Primary Objective As a Business Development Professional - Project/Construction Management, you will support the continued expansion of the Project/Construction Management team's business and client base. You will be a part of the business development team, report to the Client Services Program Manager, and work closely with the firm's Group and Team Leaders to turn client relationships into future work through creative and persuasive proposals and interviews. You will compellingly communicate the company's value proposition while supporting the sourcing and development of new leads.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Generate and foster business opportunities utilizing the firm's CRM software (Unanet)
    Network with and develop clients including targeted public sector customers
    Actively research project opportunities through networking, personal relationships, research, and participating in industry organizations
    Champion lead identification and generation
    Conduct competitive assessments on specific opportunities, make recommendations on teaming partners and help build the opportunity pipeline
    Participate in meetings with prospective customers
    Work with client managers and senior leadership in developing client engagement plans
    Proactively identify, qualify and position the Project/Construction Management Group on business development activities
    Work closely with the Client Services Program Manager, Group Leader, various Team Leaders, other senior leaders within the firm, and Pursuit Department staff
    Review opportunities with Team Leaders to determine priority and decision on pursuit
    Collaborate with other groups within the company to implement appropriate strategies to address business opportunities and overcome obstacles
    Ensure BD and Operations team(s) are involved in appropriate opportunities at pivotal points and is aware of significant developments
    Respond effectively to customer (internal and external) requests, resolve critical issues and meet all commitments in a timely manner
    Assist in assembling and writing proposals to confirm all client requirements are met
    Lead the Proposal process and determine the correct resources and timing of deliverables to keep the proposal on track
    Work with the interview teams as necessary to help deliver a successful interview
    Requirements (Education, Certifications, Level of Experience) 10+ years of experience in A/E/C business development and marketing
    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Unanet or similar CRM Software
    Preferred Qualifications:

    Exceptional written and oral communications skills
    Demonstrable customer relationship management skills
    Demonstrable network of contacts for both transportation and public infrastructure projects
    Strong communication and presentation skills, able to represent the company in senior client engagements and at industry events.
    Proven track record of developing effective collaborations with market partners
    Effective and efficient project management skills, including planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, time, and resource management skills.
    Strong interpersonal skills and prior experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
