Job Description / Primary Objective
|
The County Engineer reports to the Director of Community Development, and is over the Surveys, Site Improvement and Permits, and Special Districts Sections. They provide services for property owners and the development community such as civil improvement plan and map reviews, field constructions surveys, fee programs, Mello-Roos districts, and other special financing districts.

| Requirements (Education, Certifications, Level of Experience) |
A total of three (3) years of management level experience managing/supervising one or more of the following activities directly related to the functions managed by this position: professional surveying or engineering review and assistance; planning, design, construction, and/or inspection of engineering projects; or directing of formation proceedings and/or reorganization for special assessment districts, benefit assessment districts and community facility districts.
AND:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, business administration, public administration, or a closely related field.
